Herkimer Diamonds are found in Herkimer County and the Mohawk River Valley of New York. These quartz crystals are notable for their clarity and for their distinctive double- pointed shape. Double-point quartz crystals may be found in sites around the world, but only those mined in Herkimer County can be given this name.
